The assembly platform was developed in close cooperation with customers from the medical technology industry and complies with the GxP regulations for production in the environment of 21 CFR Part 820 or ISO 13485. The frames are preconfigured in different lengths and can be assembled to individual cells or lines. The process components (robotics, testers, laser applications, handling, etc.) are mounted on the base plates and aligned with the highest precision. Accuracies of < 10 µm @ 6 sigma and more can be achieved.

The X5 Professional Optilign MultiCarrier extends EKRA's proven Optilign option. Now up to six product carriers can be printed simultaneously. Productivity on the line increases with maximum print repeatability. Stretch problems are effectively eliminated thanks to the ingenious process. Stencil and doctor blades wear less because more output is achieved in one printing process than with a conventional method. In addition, the consumption of cleaning paper, extrapolated to the individual circuit, is reduced. The Optilign MultiCarrier option is available for the X5 Professional printing system and can be easily integrated into an existing line concept. With Optilign MultiCarrier, the X5 Professional is equipped for highly complex and standard applications.
With the flexible platform INSIGNUM 6000, customer-specific requirements in the field of laser marking are implemented. These include model variants for double-track solutions, the processing of large format substrates and the marking of e.g. ceramics, plastics and DBC substrates. Module sizes smaller than 3mil can also be realized. Transport system and laser types are individually adapted to the process requirements.
The ASYS M-AIV is a self navigating, autonomous, intelligent vehicle (AIV) designed to transport any kind of material within the manufacturing process such as magazines, roll containers, KLT boxes, PCBs or consumables. The ASYS M-AIV is a driverless, self navigating transport robot, which is able to detect obstacles and automatically avoid them and find an alternative route. The attachment is available in different sizes to transport different materials with different dimensions.

Flexible circuit carriers, which are often used in medical electronics, cannot or can only be separated to a very limited extent with conventional depaneling processes. Laser depaneling is a non-contact depaneling process and meets the requirement for stress-free operation independently. It is preferably used for flexible circuit carriers and can cut rigid substrates very close to component edges. Furthermore, the process is dust-free and meets the requirement for technical cleanliness. Not only in the automotive industry but also for life science products, low manufacturing costs and the associated high throughput and short cycle times are required. Our latest laser depaneling system POLYPHOS DP 9000 was developed for shortest non-productive times and effective handling at low investment costs. Current electronic circuits are often highly integrated and are becoming smaller and smaller. The associated small panel sizes require only a smaller working field of the laser, which helps to increase throughput. ASYS offers a wide range of laser processes for depaneling.
